The Airlines you find here serve usual service like lunch and coffee for free. The german airline market is non restricted, but dominated by Lufthansa. They try to make it hard for any possible competitor to get a step on "their" market. This is the resom why there is only Lufthansa to take you from the big Hubs like Frankfurt and Munich to any other Airport in Germany.
